Holbrook End of School Spectacular Disco!
Once again our children's entertainer and performer Lily bounced into the Holbrook club for their Family Disco, this time a week early to celebrate The End of School!!!!! (we think it's so exciting it has to have capital letters!!)

Everybody was in a brilliant mood and excited about the coming 6 weeks of sunshine and freedom, well, we say everybody, the grown ups looked rather shifty when asked but we're sure they're as excited as the rest of us!

We had 'Not Quite so Evil Eddie' on the decks under the close eye of Nasty Nigel who didn't want to part with his sweets - we had to get the jar filled all the way to the top before we were allowed to win them, and Holbrook's Got Talent was a test in 'name that tune' where upon we had to get all 13 answers correct to win the sweets - it was tense..... We nearly got stuck on 'Love and Marriage' until a dad helped us out with Frank Sinatra's name, and we nearly stumbled on who sang 'Eye of the Tiger' but with Matt to the rescue we just got 'Survivor' in time and won our sweets. There was even a 'best boy dancer' and 'best girl dancer' balloon prize, although what those balloons are is a mystery to me........

Lily still can't stop giggling to herself about what she is referring to as 'quote of the day'. Upon arrival a child came up and asked if she was the same entertainer as last year, Lily confirmed this and the very observant child replied with "You look older...." - around a year older maybe?!? Anyway Lily will be receiving lots of wrinkle cream for Christmas just in case.....

Looking forward to entertaining next month!

Evie turns 6 in true fairytale style!
Children's entertainers Fairy Lily and Pixie Bee were very excited to head over to entertain at Evie's 6th birthday party in Brighton, especially as they'd heard so much about Evie from all the other fairy folk!

Evie and her fairy friends all had their faces painted with flowers and all things fairy like, before getting down to the serious business of games and magic merriment. Evie's mum had brought the most amazing cake we had ever seen with lots of small fairy cakes around the outside showing so many fairies we lost count! We were all slightly confused when Fairy Lily's sock appeared instead of the sweets we'd been trying for but luckily Evie and her friends used all their magical ability and made that chocolate appear.

Just before leaving Fairy Lily and Pixie Bee were so excited to be given a party bag each, this did lead to a water fight later on with the water blasters, so the fairy folk had to confiscate these items until everything can be dried out again, but we'll be getting them out again soon, especially in this lovely weather!

Thanks for inviting Fairy Dust Events to your party, we had an amazing time!

Plumpton show the rain who's boss and have their BBQ anyway!
Circus Brighton was excited to head over to Plumpton School for their BBQ and run circus skills workshops over the event. There were lots of familiar faces from previous events and even those picking up the skills for the first time were amazingly adapt by the end of the evening!

We had a plate spinning King and Queen (definitely not a princess, she hates princesses...) lots of hooping stars, pedal racer experts, jugglers and even the teachers had a go!

Lily's quote of the day had to be from our plate spinning queen, with 'can you spin my thumb, please?'.

Thanks for inviting us to entertain at your event, we had a great time!

Peter Pan in Lindfield
Our children's entertainer Peter Pan used his extra fairy dust to visit Natasha's 4th birthday party in Lindfield and what an amazing adventure it was!

Using some magical fairy dust borrowed from Tink all the children did magic and dancing, searched for Captain Hooks hidden treasure and walked the plank for prizes. Everyone got their face painted before the end of the party and Peter Pan was sad to leave everyone, especially as the sun made a guest appearance as well!

Thanks so much for inviting our Peter Pan out from Neverland, normally sat at home waiting for Tink to come home from all her adventures our Peter had an amazing time today and got to tell Tink all about it for a change!

Magical Disco Party in Brighton!
Children's entertainer Fairy Toxi arrived at Chloe's 6th birthday glitter disco party all ready to give Chloe her magical makeover before the party got started, as friends started to arrive there was just time for everyone to have a mini makeover and coloured hair done before it was down to the serious business of dancing for prizes.....

Fairy Toxi couldn't believe the amount of talent in the room as showtime began and the dance routines just got better and better!

Chloe had a beautiful Hello Kitty birthday cake which matched the brilliant party bags (obviously as she got them from us!) and to top it all off Dad had built a zip wire in the garden which everyone got to have a turn on once we'd managed to do the 'no rain' spell.......

Thanks for inviting Fairy Toxi and Fairy Dust Events to entertain at your magical disco party, we had a great time!

Nursery Leavers Do
Children's entertainers Fairy Lily and Fairy Toxi were honoured to entertain at another special fairytale party for this amazing nursery school in Patcham. All the boys and girls were celebrating heading up to big school next term and we partied out in style!

Fairy Lily just didn't believe Fairy Toxi could do any magic, but after lots of help from the children she amazed everyone by making pirate gold appear from no where! Fairy Lily wasn't to be outdone and showed off her new colouring book, except she'd accidentally lost all the pictures out of it! A little help from those magical children and all was well with the fairy world again, and it was on to the special musical games and all the prizes!

Someone thought we could do with some cooling off and so hit the fire alarm half way through, we fairy marched out to the meeting point before skipping back in after the all clear and boogying away again! Even the alarm repair man came in to join us before having to go back to work.

Thanks so much for having us along to entertain again

Paddle Round the Pier 2012
Circus Brighton was back entertaining at Paddle Round the Pier 2012 with non stop circus workshops, facepainting and the chance to buy your own circus equipment or even magical fairy wings!

We managed to dodge most of the rain and painted sunshine on those brave enough to come out in the weather, which led to us having so much fun! On the Sunday we even Zumba'd with hoops and then had a massive 'muddy hoop' session first thing which woke everyone up!

Hangleton School Disco
Children's entertainer Fairy Lily joined forces with the gadget king that is DJ Carl for Hangleton Infant School Disco on Friday 6th July and had an amazing time! They set up with special disco lights and all the gadgets you could ever think of in the main hall, with all the teachers and helpers in the canteen with spectacular stalls doing hair sprays, selling glow sticks, facepainting booth and loads of other activity stations for the children to visit.

Once everyone started arriving it was request time, with One Direction winning outright, followed by Jessie J and LMFAO giving the kids those bouncing beats to dance too, once warmed up it was down to the serious job of winning sweets - the games had begun. Sweets were won for best dancer along with fastest bumps, best statue, scariest face, moodiest teenage look and most gymnastic potential - ok maybe not the last one but it should have been with the amount of break dancing, splits and cartwheels going on - Hangeton Infants know how to dance!

Final prize was given out to the first person who could read the scrolling disco light message that had lit up the ceiling - well done to the winner! It scrolled 'Hangleton Infant School Disco'.

Thanks so much for inviting us along - we had an amazing time entertaining and DJ'ing at your school disco!

Ship ahoy circus!
Our children's entertainers Kate and Lily just got back from a special 'unbirthday' circus workshop on an amazing Pirates of the Caribbean inspired Black Pearl Ship stage!

Mum is no stranger to parties having just had her own based around the installation and so thought the kids should get a chance to have a party pirate style, enter our circus freaks to take over and all chaos ensues! Well, organised circus chaos anyway.....

The two unbirthday kids were both amazing and Lily had a sneaky suspicion they'd done some of these skills before, got to watch these hustlers...... Kate was in charge of tightrope and everyone had a go at walking across, some even with ice cream in hand although sneaky Kate was trying to pinch the ice cream when they weren't looking.

Onto showtime where everyone brave enough lept onto the stage and performed to their adoring crowd, hooping, staff spinning, poi, plate spinning, it was all mastered and performed so well no one had to walk the plank. Finishing up with a balloon twisting challenge and everyone left with a smile on their face and a balloon in their hand, some weren't inflated anymore but I hear balloon worms are the new latest thing?!

Thanks so much for inviting Circus Brighton to entertain at your party - it's one we won't be forgetting for a long time!!!

Brighton Flow Fest
Our circus instructors work hard to keep at the top of their game, and so we sent our entertainer Lily off to Live:Love:Hoop's day of hooping workshops to learn some new skills, she couldn't move for a few days after with all the aches and pains but had an amazing time, we definitely recommend going along as they cover all skill levels and goes at such a pace you won't ever get bored of one move!

Here's the vid from the day of amazing workshops - see if you can spot Lily in her pink outfit, although she seems to be gazing into space in this shot.....she does assure us she worked hard all day.......
